With colleges becoming more and more competitive, it has become increasingly necessary for students to start preparing for their journey early. As a student-led nonprofit that guides aspiring, young students toward potential career paths, Youth Career Connect hopes to open the door of self-discovery and help students find their passions early on.

Figuring out what career you want to indulge in for the rest of your life at the ripe age of 15-18 is certainly daunting. With a focus on allowing students to explore and build connections with professionals who have devoted their lives to their careers, we will help you figure out what is right for you! Through presentations and hands-on research opportunities, students who work with us will develop their passions and build a strong resume to get a head start and stand out in their high school journey.

Why is it important to start career exploration early?

Starting early helps you understand your interests and strengths, make informed decisions, develop relevant skills, and build a network. It also reduces uncertainty and boosts motivation, making your high school planning more effective and adaptable.

Who can participate in Youth Career Connect programs?

Our programs are open to all middle school students, but high school students may also contact us if they wish to connect with a professional or work on/mentor a research project. Even motivated elementary school students may be able to join us in small research projects!

What types of programs and services does Youth Career Connect offer?

YCC offers connections to professionals in numerous fields as well as research projects for middle school students to explore their interests and find their passions. We also provide volunteer opportunities for high school students who wish to mentor research projects and learn about different careers themselves!

Is there a cost to participate in Youth Career Connect programs?

There is no cost to participate with us. YCC is committed to providing all students the resources and opportunities needed for success in their high school journey. Just fill out the sign-up form and we’ll contact you about your interests!

Donations would be greatly appreciated! As a nonprofit, donation money would be put into expanding our services to more students, enhancing research projects, and connecting with more professionals in sought-after fields.
